# How to Download Philips SpeechControl Device and Application Control Software.

## This Demo will go over how to download the Philips SpeechControl Device and Application Control Software.

**Go to the Official Philips Download Page**

Visit the

[Philips SpeechControl software page](https://www.dictation.philips.com/us/products/workflow-software/speechcontrol-device-and-application-control-software-lfh4000/)

1. **Locate the Software**  
   Scroll down to the **Download** section. You’ll see options for Windows and macOS versions.

2. **Choose Your Version**

     - The folder will look like the example below:

3. **Extract the file from the zipped folder:**

- Once extracted, it will look like this:

**5. Double click the Philips\_speechcontrol\_installer and proceed with the steps for the wizard.**

This software lets you:

- Customize button functions on your SpeechMike or foot pedal
- Update firmware for devices
