# What are the system requirements for Dragon Copilot?

## Here are the system Requirements for Dragon Copilot:

### Hardware requirements

Your workstation must meet the following hardware requirements for running the Dragon Copilot desktop app:

- Processor speed:
  
    - Minimum: 1.7 GHz
    - Recommended: 2.8 GHz
- Memory:
  
    - Minimum: 4 GB RAM
    - Recommended: 8 GB RAM
- Disk space:
  
    - Minimum: 500 MB of available storage
    - Recommended: 1 GB of available storage

### Software requirements

- [Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145)
- Microsoft .NET 4.8
- Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x (x64)
- ASP.NET Core 8.x.x (x64)

Dragon Copilot desktop supports the following operating systems:

- Windows 11
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows Server 2022

### Bandwidth requirements

Dragon Copilot requires a minimum bandwidth of 64 kbps.

### Latency requirements

- Minimum: \< 500 ms
- Recommended: \< 200 ms
